Instant Wishlist — Privacy Policy

What we collect

Instant Wishlist stores the minimum data needed to run a wishlist: the products a shopper saves (product ID, variant ID, and product handle), an anonymous browser token for guests, and the Shopify customer ID for logged-in shoppers. We do not collect names, email addresses, payment details, browsing history, or any other personal information.

How we use it

Wishlist data is used solely to display each shopper's wishlist and to show merchants aggregate statistics (for example, their most wishlisted products). We never sell data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising.

Data retention & deletion

When a merchant uninstalls Instant Wishlist, all wishlist data for their store is deleted. We honor Shopify's customer data deletion requests (GDPR/CCPA) automatically: when a customer or store requests redaction, the corresponding wishlist records are permanently removed.
